The Désert d’en haut

A holiday in the sun, in the fresh air and without a car! The houses "1898" and "1904" are two large alpine chalets in the small hamlet of Désert d'en Haut at 1750 m altitude. They are independent of each other and have been completely renovated from an ecological point of view. They are ideally located for hiking in the Neuvache valley, the Natura 2000 site of Mont Thabor and the Cerces massif, or for the many sporting activities organised in Valmeinier for young and old. With a maximum capacity of 10 people each, they will welcome you to recharge your batteries. You won't need a car during your stay, as the shops are only a 10-minute walk away. Nevertheless, the hamlet is easily accessible by car in summer. The view is beautiful all year round.
